His Majesty’s passing at such a young age is a profound and deeply painful loss. For those within the African Royal Family, it is not simply the passing of a Sovereign, but the loss of a brother whose journey was still unfolding and whose future held immense promise. His Majesty had grown into a young Monarch with a deep sense of responsibility to his Kingdom and its people, and with so much more yet to contribute to Tooro, Uganda and the wider African family. His passing therefore leaves not only a Kingdom in mourning, but a palpable sense of the future that has been lost.

Prince Estifanos remembers His Majesty with profound respect and affection, particularly for his commitment to his people, the preservation of Tooro’s heritage, and the advancement of youth, education, health, environmental stewardship and development. His Majesty’s life was one of promise, and his legacy will endure through the people and generations he served.

At this solemn hour, Prince Estifanos stands in fraternal solidarity with the Royal Family and the people of Tooro. He extends his prayers and heartfelt sympathies to all who mourn His Majesty, and particularly to the Royal Family who bear this immeasurable loss.
